Tropical Queensland, Australia: A Journey – Tuesday, January 16 at 6:30 PM
Join us on a photographic voyage on Tuesday, January 16 at 6:30 PM, as we explore the natural beauty of Queensland, Australia. Visit the World Heritage-listed Daintree/Cape Tribulation rain forest in northern Queensland, one of the most diverse and beautiful examples of primal forest in the world. This ecologically unique rainforest is home to the most extensive range of rare plants and animals on earth, and all are found within an area of approximately 1200 square kilometers – the largest area of protected tropical rainforest in Australia. Come with us as we view the Great Barrier Reef and discuss the challenges this area faces with our speaker, Dr. David Unger.
