Living in the Muslim World: A Woman’s Perspective – Monday, March 27 at 6:30PM
Dr. Gillian Hettinger offers a firsthand look at the experience of living as a woman in Saudi Arabia. While completing her doctorate in the early 90’s, her husband accepted a job in Riyadh, and she took a leave from her teaching position to join him there. Her talk will be about her personal experiences living in the Middle East for almost four years from a western woman’s perspective, her initial impressions, the day-to-day encounters and the lasting memories. Registration is requested. To register, call the library at 973-584-2400 ext. 501 or e-mail email@example.com.
