Overview of what you need to do to impact county, statewide and national elections by registering to vote and keeping current on how to vote early, by absentee and other changes. Non-partisan event.
The League of Women Voters of Warren and West Morris Counties will lead a presentation about voter registration in New Jersey, to include recent changes to automatic registration and online registration, and early voting changes, then move into the details relevant to upcoming elections. The League of Women Voters source the information from the State and from county election officials -- this information may be publicly available, but the LWV sifts through it all and helps us make sense of it.
The League of Women Voters' main goal is to equip people with the tools they need to make informed decisions about voting. Who people vote for and how they vote is entirely up to them.
This event is part of the Roxbury Library’s Common Grounds series presented by the Library and the Roxbury Coalition for Social Change. Common Grounds explores and facilitates civil conversations on race, political beliefs, gender, creed and more, celebrating diversity in Roxbury.
