Sharks: Myths VS. Reality – Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 PM
Our longstanding fear of sharks has always been evident in literature, and in countless movies and TV shows – perhaps most prominently in the movie “Jaws” and Discovery Channel’s popular “Shark Week” series. Dean Fessler, marine biologist and education director at the Shark Institute, a non-profit education and shark advocacy group will separate fact from fiction as he discusses some common myths about sharks and the real-life facts about these misunderstood predators. This program is suitable for ages 10 through adult.
