The 1862 Shenandoah Valley Campaign is a world-famous military endeavor that is often discussed but not well understood. The North Jersey Civil War Round Table, in honor of the 1862 Shenandoah Valley Campaign's 160th anniversary, presents Gary Ecelbarger.
About the Presenter: Gary Ecelbarger has written and co-written nine books as well as over two dozen articles, essays and monographs about Civil War personalities and events. Nearly half of those publications focus on the 1862 Shenandoah Valley Campaign of 1862, a subject of which he has lectured and led tours frequently throughout the past quarter century. Among his planned works in the near future is a history of the final two weeks of the campaign.
